Been making some stickbaits
Want some Holographic eyes
Seen em online but....

As I want to take a stickbait or two with me to compare colours and size against the eyes wondered if anyone here knew of a shop in Wellington I could go to
I'll be popping into Goldings (Craftshop) on Sat but wanted to know if there were more options
Am googling
Also asking here
Cheers

Bro, do you mean 3D epoxy eyes or something similar?

Most craft stores will carry "Teddy Bear" eyes or the googly ones with the pupil that moves commonly seen in resin trolling lures. You can make your own epoxy eyes.

What size eyes are you after, I may be able to help you out... You will struggle to find larger eyes in NZ, if at all.

Hi Sam

I have gotten the googly eyes (Just awful) and the teddy bear eyes (Stick out a bunch)
But these lures are smallish and will benefit from a lower profile solution.

Someone kindly PM'd me a shop in Lower Hutt I will try and get to this weekend but failing that i will just take a punt and either order some or see what I can do to fabricate some

If you have a link to a tute on making epoxy eyes I would appreciate it if you could post that else I will google

Appreciate your response.

Also that Paua stick you made is off the chart.

Appreciate it
My sticks are painted bits of lumber at best
I am learning in leaps and bounds but to be honest it is ALL R&D level still
If I find a spare pile of motivation I will post pics for your amusement
But They are works in progress both mechanically and cosmetically

I have a feeling that the next generation I make will be closer to something that works: These not so much

If anyone wants larger custom Eyes I can make them. I have a resin gun at work I can use and was thinking of buying one for home if I can get enough demand for it.

Can do eyes on reflective, holographic, luminous etc.
