Greetings all,

Just wondering if any one knows where I can buy a smith rods from?

Looking at getting a stickbait rod for fishing off the bricks in the tropics and was thinking along the lines of a GTK 77 - SJK?

Thanks' for that boy's,

You think this will be a good choice to match for a 10000SW and fishing medium sized stickbaits off the rocks for GT's and large blue fin or should I go for something longer/stronger?

I have this rod is a good one, casts well but is an out an out stick bait rod rather than poppers, for baits up to 120gm ish, can't remember exact stats. Assume you already have popper rods?

Matches the 10000 well and casts as good as a longer carpenter brc, i reckon. Depends on size of fish and braid strength you want to use. Would handle average to big fish but if wanting to land a monster from the rocks a bit more welli in a rod may be the go.

That model is more suitable for poppers, the GTK-77SJH is the one you want for stickbaits.
