Have a salti 4500 myself - the new Carpenter Blue Chaser series was recommended to me, the lighter of the 2 models due in NZ early next year should be the go...if you can wait that is

Why not a Synit PE 3 casting rod..?? I dont plug any brands but I am impressed with my only Synit to date.

They are very well made and will do everything you ask of them and more..This is a PE10 putting the hurt on a fish, but not me despite the straight up and down fight,I dont even use a gimble with it (but do have the extra benifit of a good base layer of natural padding..Embarrassed).
It works stickbaits well and poppers up to 160g - to me it is a fantastic, bulletproof allrounder.
To me it is the ideal for Kingies once they go to the bottom,MIB recently caught a few Sails on his PE 3 and I will be traking mine to the islands popping next weekend.

MC Works Seven Miles 806CR or the Carpenter BLC 84/18 would be my choice.
