HI there Rob, I have a Cabo and reckon it is a great fishing kayak.  Best advice I can give you is if using it for a single person (and it works very well with only one in it) is use the centre seat.  A number of people will sit in the back and put weight in the front to keep the kayak balanced but a central seating position in my view is much better.  It is also a "dry" seat as there are no scuppers there.   I have another spare seat and it takes less than 5 minutes to rig if a mate wants to head out.   Seats with back support critical in my view.  Rest of the set up is pretty standard - see links on this forum.  Good luck!

I have humminbird 525 sounder and seems to keep on running while a lot of others have given up.  gets plenty of dunkings as well.

Had two sets of rudder controls.Took a couple of attempts to get the rod holders in the right place but the finished set up worked really well. Heaps of room when used as a single as well.
