Hi, need a buddy for out over the Manukau bar tomorrow morning in my Surtees 5.5 if the marine conditions don't change.  Leaving Cornwallis at around 0800.  Targeting snapper.  Please PM me with a number to call.  I can provide everything but some gas money would be appreciated.

Good luck out there Tim, I was out yesterday so can't do today. Hopefully you got a buddy. Good to see you're still kicking around these parts.

Thanks Smudge - you are doing a great job.  The wife and I have had health issues so only just got back to it after almost two years.  I'm quite risk adverse when it comes to the bar and found the swellmap seems to have gone that way too.  Looking back on one of your reports I found your recommendation of shelf break less than 1.5m and chop less than 0.7m to be a very good recommendation.
I didn't make it out today so now thinking tomorrow may still work if i take the day off.  The chop would be max 0.9m and swell 1.2m by swellmap.  Hopefully it doesn't rise on the next update.

Nothing wrong with being risk averse when crossing bars Tim. I think it will be a bit choppy today but there shouldn't be much of a swell

Didn't make it out in the end Smudge.  Son wasn't keen enough to do a morning start.  Will keep building up my list of buddies that will go last minute.
