Hi guys
I think in the next 18-24 months I might buy a new mask strap.
Can anyone give me the pros and cons of various options?

Get one with eyes on the back, it keeps the giant squids away.

Do you think with your purchase, to be able to afford it you could put it on layby and pay abit off each month?

Get one that doesn't have long ends that hang out from the mask too far. I have heard Queensland Groper tend to grab those ones for use as dental floss

Woah! Settle down man! It's not exactly a decision that you should rush!! I wish you'd asked us this question at least 14-19 months ago.

Have you considered blind buying from the internet.  Apparently it's much cheaper.  A quick search found a really good place in Turkmenistan- Anyone else tried them?

I dunno whether those straps from Turkmenistan are cured in camel urine but I do think they could be cured in the urine taken from this and other recent threads.

You don't need a mask strap. Just breathe in through your nose and the mask will stick to our face. The reduced drag on the back of your head will improve your speed in the water.

Our face? Are we sharing one?
I was planning on painting the strap red to make it faster anyway, so drag wont be an issue
