The other alternative is to have a postal style match....
Fish your home water.
Pick a weekend and get out there fishin, photo and weight of fish caught. average weight of each team members best fish. highest average weight wins.

like the sounds of that idea Murf. Logistically its probably the easiest way to go, with a lot less organising.

Sounds like a workable plan there Murf, Teams sound good as well.

Will need to decide where we (BOP) will fish from. Could do a weekend at Waihau, bach can sleep a few, others in tent/lodge/campground/other. Not sure what kingis are like at the moment, Rob will be able to tell us soon (still have to get you those marks).

Taurags crew could host also.

Bragging rites to what? That your better than me and im better than you,you caught more kingies than me and i caught more than you.
Its a bit like the All blacks, ranked number one all the time, but when it comes to the world champs....need i say more.
Id rather be number one and consistant, than a world champ some of the time, maybe once(1987).
If this thing goes ahead,id like to be a ref, everyone uses the same BRD brand, same reel, same rod etc.
Gotta dash,The World Bass Fishing Champs are on ESPNLOL
