Hi guys

As a good starting point for any days jigging, which jig do you choose

first one that grabs your attention

or is a bit like trout fishing trying to match the over head conditions with the colour, ie overcast day = dull tones, bright day = bright tones

I do follow the overhead conditions theory and tell people what colours they should be using.   Then I tie on my favourite Orange/Gold Zest.

That LJ took the 12/0 hook fairly in its mouth.  I remember having trouble trying to get it out of such a tiny mouth amidst those teeth.  Man they have some chompers!

You often wonder what were these fish thinking?  Sounds like a start of a new thread!
