Hi guys.

Looking for a good surf casting spot in |Waihi beach, around mid January.
All help is welcomed

Whiritoa beach to the north, Bowentown or Kauri point wharf, or go for a walk on waihi beach the first evening you are there and see if the locals are fishing the main beach at Waihi.
At this time of the year I'd be fishing the evening change of light and into darkness for any chance of a catch off the beach or first light on the incoming at Kauri point wharf..
