On the outside of the workups at the moment there are massive numbers of kahawai with plenty of kingI's cruising among them. Yesterday we had about 30 good size kings boil up next to the boat. We got a nice 17kg fish on sb and lost a better 20 kg boat side when the rod broke. Get out to the back paddock and have a crack. Fish are hungry as hell

Any issues with hooking gannets around the workups? (always seems to happen to me when casting smaller lures) got an ok kingie on a snapper jig on saturday after the work ups had died down so no doubt plenty o f them there and looks like top water is a better way to go!
