I knew one day it we would get a snapper on a stick bait but I was still shocked when one popped up next to the boat with a stick bait hanging out of its gob.

Lure was a new lure coming just on the market from Angel Tackle and of course it was on a Carpenter rod.
Fish was weighed and then released, went good old fashioned 20 pounds.

The Angler was none other than regualr on here Bunzo over visiting from Australia

As per Kezza, interested in what sort of depth /  terrain you were fishing?

I didnt see the bite, we were in 20 metres when it hit but we were right next to a rock that come up to 5 metres, guessing the fish was cruising the dropoff.
After we got the fish some soft baits went out and we then got smoked by something big

One of the great things about fishing.
Any thing can happen any time as long as you have got a line in the water.  WickedThumbs Up
