CBF, I went over to hamilton today, called in to the Base, the Kathmandu there, and got me one of those too....awesome! Now you are being penalised for having a light rod tube (if there is no difference in charges between a 5kg rod tube and a 23kg bag), then sod it, I will use the bag to take more stuff! ;-)
Excellent looking bag too, for $60, well worth it.
cheers, thanks for the tip-off,
Stu.

Heres a practise run.
Four rods, 2 jigging and 2 spin
Three reels (I cross over a couple of reels between spin and jigging to save weight) Still looking for a box for the reels to stop a crush accident.
Three sets of snorkel gear.
Three wetsuits.

Comes to just over 16kg so can round off the weight with some clothes. Lures and terminal tackle will be in bottom of wife or daughters bag.
