I've put a clip together of my latest lures called GHOST

Made in two sizes, the smaller one being 180mm, 80g before rigged with Owner ST4 2/0 trebbles and 200lb Varivas splits. The larger one is 225mm, 130g before rigged with Owner ST4 5/0 on the belly and 4/0 for tail, also with 200lb Varivas splits.

Looking good Marx... I like em' Thumbs Up

Nice swimming action too, unpredictable and erratic... The slide is cool too I have my own doing that as they come up, you never know what way it will slide on the surface.

Have you tried em' in the salt yet? Or with a full cast? I found on one of my prototype 230mm baits line angle made a big difference to the action/ability to swim...Be cool to see how they swim in some chop too, bro you are going to have a blast Clap Kudos and keep em' coming.

The quality of lures you guys are making is just spectacular. Brilliant stuff, keep 'em coming.
Just a thought.... have you guys thought of collaborating to form some sort of Kiwi lure makers group.... combine with other hot lure makers here onsite to be able to fund stands at boatshows etc, combine costs etc, like ordering materials and so on, a few development ideas etc maybe even collaborating with top kiwi rod builders to present bonafide NZ made product ranges nationally and internationally.

nice work, If I can find a few treble hooks strong enough I will have one ready to feed at feeding marlin this season, this is now my to do thing this year, got the rods certainly got the reels so will give it everything she's got.

Very slick bro. That action is insanely good, got that very paniced 'eat me' look to them. Getting that paint work looking very good. Putting all the effort in time in foreshorly is going to pay you dividends, hopefully soon bro.

They have got trebles on them if you read Marx's post. Think they would be fairly hard to swim without.

No saltwater yet, although the pool is a saltwater pool its not the same thing as sea. I think line angle and the amount of line out make a big difference alright, pretty cramped up in that pool area.

I've just made a new size in the Ghost range. Plan was to get them wet with Capt Phil saturday just been but unfortunately the weather didn't play ball.

Looking forward to the holidays where they'll get a good workout.

205mm long, 110g and rigged with Owner trebles, 4/0 on the belly and 3/0 on the tail using 200lb Varivas splits.

We can always have a cast off the beach at Cornwallis , if you wanted to film the action you can cast along side the wharf.

Not to worried about getting any more footage of action, at least not until I go fishing. From what you've told me Cornwallis sounds like a good place to practice, might even pick up a rouge king!

That shift in speed/action between the two lures wasn't intentional this time around (it was with 180mm lures) Just goes to show the effect that subtle variations in shape & weight distribution has on the action of a lure...... these lures are exactly the same weight!
