Thanks guys, I've just picked up a pair of the Berkley heavy duty ones from my local tackle shop.  Should make life a little easier.

Do you like em?....They can tend to rust....so keep them oiled or inoxed on metal parts and they should last you years.Wink

the texas tackle ones I ordered from Boulder were out of stock, so he sent me some HPA ones with high fashion orange sheath to match the orange handlesWink 
Played with them last night on some 200lb Varivas split rings. Wow! I was impressed, opened them out with ease and feel real solid. Thumbs Up

Those blue Berkley heavy duty ones are all good. Have had a pair on the boat for some time now with no sign of seizing up like most. The only thing I suggest is not to cut braid with them.

It does have "mono only" engraved next to the cutters on the ones I bought.

i got the mass produced ones off torpedo7, cuts any braid mean as had no problems with owner#11H rings, just pull them apart and lock tite all the screws before use, perfect..
