Picked up my first top water set since the infamous speeds master 4. i spent a measly 3 spot on a fin nor offshore 7500 with matching 7 foot rod as a General purpose rod but thinking ill keep it as a top water set. Threw poppers n stick baits for couple of hours on the weekend and was pleasantly surprised with distance of cast and lure action.

Has anyone used or done well these set ups.
