Only a 10kg fish, but stoked that one was dumb enough to go my hand whittled popper. Was a fun fight in shallow water at Tiri.

As you can see its a pretty simple creation. A piece of pine, some spray paint, my 6 year olds stickers, $2 shop eyes etc.

Are you happy with the way the popper held up? any changes to be made? I find it hard to have a lure that is 100%

I was pretty happy with it. One of the eyes fell off but and the paint job is pretty soft. The wiring etc is fine. I have just used a washer to hold the wiring and glue to seal it up. Doesnt look that flash but did the job.
