Anyone know of a good rod to cast heavy sticks? 250 to 300 gram rigged?Wink

Carpenter Monster Hunter 79 Extreme, Monster hunter 80H 2, FCL UCB 710 Extreme H and plenty of others will cast that sort of weight but are more or less popper rods.
Saltywater Tackle Race Point 300 would be my pick though.
My 2c.

Thanks fishy....i have some adhek bail dancer sticks that weigh 260 gram rigged up but they look the business to me.
The salty water tackle one........does that have a softer tip to work the big sticks?
The monster hunter 80 looks useful.....I will have a nosey....Thanks.

The race Point 300 is designed for casting large sticks(and poppers) to 300lb class(or more) tuna, plus XXL GT's and is a legit PE10/12 rod so obviously wont have a soft tip like a PE4-6/8 rod. With that being said it would be my pick if wanting to use more so for large stickbaits vs a really popper specific PE10/12 GT rod.

What are you looking at targeting?

Gt's and kings mate......i was looking at the FC Labo ucl 81.....i have those adhek bali dancer sticks which are 260 grams rigged but i would use it with large poppers like the adhek buffalo and Kong as well.Wink
