What is your go to braid for casting lures?
I am looking at 40-60lb and mostly shore based. Any suggestions appreciated.

Any of the Varivas Avani Casting or YGK range. Sunline, Duel, Gosen at a lower price point.

I've used Tasline Elite White in 30lb, 50lb and 80lb and found it very good. No wind knots (though the line presumably isn't always to blame in that situation), doesn't seem to rough up, casts really nicely. Kaveman tackle now sells sells it here. Kiwi made world-class line, and supporting a Forum sponsor at the same time.
I have Varivas Sea Bass on a softbait reel and it is superb line as well, I assume the heftier Varivas is quality as well.
