Hi All, I've  Been a bit slack on posting  lately but still been keeping an eye on recent posts over the last few months. I've compiled a few picks of some action i hope you enjoy. My  fishing over  the past few months has been very good with plenty of big Snaps, some released others kept for comp weighing and plenty shared around friends  and family. The best of them I let go and charged off! would of been around 12 kg. See Pics... Another for a measure comp went 85cm, see pics...And a couple before weighing at butcher shop for local comp. see pics..My brother and I had one trip where we probably should of turned around and headed home once we arrived at beach and saw the waves. it was 1.1 odd meters pumping which is maximum for launching the Mac. Watching for a while there were some big lulls so we decided to have a crack. Boat in the water we got hammered for twenty odd minutes and finally a lull and we were off smashing through a couple of waves! captured by a friend on beach. see pics..I have only six months to go before I'm a pentioner, lol but im a long way off giving up my passion beach launching and catching good fish in the silent little Mac. We have just had four fantastic flat days in a row which is very rare here. I made the most of it, fished two and did one dusk fish. Trying for some good comp fish the day fishing was average but hit good fish on dusk with big whole fresh mullet that a mate had just netted that day..Keep up the posts there has been some good reading lately! Cheers...

Some good fish there. Seeing those pics of the surf launch brought back memories of the far far north launches we did back in the 80's 90's. Great fun . The whole mullet you mention , is that grey mullet or yellow eye ?
