Spots to Kite fish coromandel peninsula?

Hi folks,

Doing a trip down to the Coromandel peninsula this weekend and contemplating taking the kite fishing dropper setup.

Wondering if there are any suitable beaches on the west side of the Coromandel peninsula or top of the peninsula as I can't find anything solid in regards to spots for kite fishing around there?
