Had good day at penguins yesterday hard fishing 6 fish best at 16kg got few rats
but one had black spots on both sides was very pale in colour,has anyone else seen this will put pics up soon.
also mate lost something huge had on for while then hook pull scaffing from jig about meter
up leader didnt look like rocks more a bill or shark skin

Have seen some spots on rats before.
 
Sounds like shark skin on leader.

It's actually caused by a genetic defect that effects the CNS of Kings. The pigmentation of the skin is affected in times of stress, hence the blotching caused by overloading of the synapses(s?).

hey matt i had one just the like at penguins only looked like a king not a kahawai LOLweekend b4 last asked the same question never seen one like it nor had crew.Love the answer "keen as" dont think it was ink as i thought it definately in the skin as oppossed to on the skin.

Hey Matt, the Powerspells must be "magical" - Turns Kingis into Kahawhai on the way up - They dont stand a chance with the PS500.
