Kane I think u may have got the under standing of slow pitch jigging wrong on this One. I'm sure with a wall of 0.8mm on them thay are not made to put 15kg of drag on them.

A pic of the wall thickness of the Blank on Kane's rod...... yep all these X-Jig blanks are thin walled... The Technology is way ahead of anything out there but it still has limits .....

Not sure what you mean? I'm not just saying it will handle 15kg of drag I'm showing you. I don't care how thick the wall is. I care about how it feels......

Like G said this is new technology no one really knows what it can and can't do.

Up until now I didn't know how thick the wall was! .8 now its scary.......but cool as really.
Yes this rod will blow to bits in the wrong hands with high drag settings.

But in good hands it really feels good!

Please if any one wants to bring there gear to check or test on my dyno feel free!

Last time i checked this style of fishing doesnt use "lift" power of ROD. So why are these things being tested this way?

You are correct and as I have previously stated the main aim of these rods isn't about power but rather the action of the rod imparts in the jig using the slow pitch jigging methods ... The videos Kane has made are not in anyway part of the Synit testing program for the X-Jig Slow Pitch rods....Whatever Kane choose to do with his personal rod is up to him...

Nice machine Kane. Simulator or stimulator? Is this primarily set up for snapper, trevs and the like? Just thinking that kingies don't generally fight on angles out away from the boat, more so straight up and down at the gunnels, unless you're in shallowish terrain or they're near the bottom, as you know bro. Be good to see you at height straight above that pulley. Be interesting/ entertaining to see that load totally on the rod. Reel snappa rod.

I totally agree this is where you will be pointing it at the fish, off to the Banks in Oct I'll let you know for sure!

I'm thinking it is more a dyno than simulator (stimulator) for this type of thing. Basically if your reel and or rod can stop the dyno it'll stop most fish out there. Everyone feel free to bring your gear in and see what it can do.............any brands ,models , anyone. It is good fun.

I sure you though regardless of line angle this rod is loaded in the vid's and has good power..
