Yeah, old topic but very informative. Will add, was helping a pretty successful skipper rerig his lures for the game session this year and we found on one where the crimp had not been crimped at all. That lure had caught at least one marlin and all that was holding it was the mushroom.

He won't live that one down in a hurry, but it does show the value of putting a mushroom on single crimps.
