Art of the Fly is a nice book. It shows you several stages of tying for each fly, gives you a list of materials and a description of how to tie each pattern.

The descriptions are fairly brief and I personally would struggle to tie most of them as I haven't tried tying before. The photography is excellent though and that's the main reason I bought it.
What's the cheapest type of meat? Dear balls. They're under a buck.

Art of the fly.Thumbs%20Up
Recieved a copy last week.
I was more interested in, how salt water flies were tied.
It gave me more of a insight of the basics, with materials, hooks and tying etc.
Im wanting to tie a few salties, and have a crack at it.
