First YFT taken from far north on a black and purple lure est 35-40kg, caught last monday.

Another of 56kg apparently taken at the Garden Patch.Clap

Kawhia snapper charter skipper (and another boat) saw a marlin free-jumping in 50 m a few days ago.
NIWA says that warm water is heading down the West Coast!
