been ages since I used these . Today with direct west winds I went over to Kauri Mountain beach . loads of weed on beach so I walked bout 500m down the beach till all was clear . Got every thing set up and set 4 hooks out around 300m using a dropper rig . wind starting to pick up a bit and kite starting to become unstable. left out for bout 30 min and slowly started to wind in . Half way in and the kite collapsed and into the water . Ended with 1 snapper at 38cm . Try a few more times to get the sled to fly but just to windy . Got 2 sacks of kelp for the garden before leaving . will try again soon
