I have a group of four mates looking to do a 1day charter for kingfish. Can anyone suggest a charter to go on. We have only got anout $300 each to spend. I have already looked at 'Memory Maker' and Epic adventures. Thanks

Both Memory makers and Epic Adventures are top operators... Why look any further?

if you decide to come north REEL LIFE with Captn Phil is a top operator out of Whangaroa, even has home stay for that weekend away, been with him a hell of a lot and loved every minute, never ben with epic or memory makers so I cant comment but there pics and reports speak for them selves.

The two you looked at are top operators both "Memory Makers" and "Epic" run great operations with a proven track record.

As for who's the best, that's has a lot to do with what you are expecting out of your charter, not all trips will result in big fish so be prepared to look at the total package of what the operator has on offer.

Thats putting the cat among the pigeons!  Best operator...

Tell you what, if you all chip in I will grudgingly take some time out from work and do a tour of all the jigging skippers and get back to you a verdict!  Dig deep fellas it's for a good cause!

Only used one so far, Epic - and now thats all the fishing I want to do!
Great day out!

Now you can see my situation. Too many good ones to choose from. I'm very tempted to fish the coromandel because i fish the area quite regularly. Then on the other hand I've seen some of the fish that come from White Island. My personal best kingy is 17kg. I'm looking at fishing late May/early June (Baby on the way). What area will produce best during this time?

Epic at Tairua wins the prize for consistency at that time of the year. However getting a booking may be an issue.
