rented a 7.5m cat lookin for 3 crew 280 each , will be jigging mostly /live baiting will do a spot of tera/snap hunting then round the back to find sum puka oh and always have to stop at channel island to battle a few local kings , must be able to consume amounts of alcohole  LOL

Orange r - are you sure that the boat is in survey for the back of Gt Barrier? Most small boats rented out of Auckland are limited to the west coast of Barrier.

Needles isn't the back of Barrier if that (the back of Barrier) is where you are heading for your Puka. You will probably invalidate your any insurance etc if you go out of the survey area, so would pay to be clear on the limits. I assume it is one of the 7.5m single diesel Maitland Cats? Be interested to hear what you think of it.
