My family spent 30 amazing years in and around Langs Beach back in it's hayday of the late 60's/70's onwards. As a small child I would collect Tuatuas with my family down Johnson Point Road and Uretiti. My mum is turning 90 years young and out of all the things she could ask to do to celebrate, she has asked to take her to get Tuatuas! I now live in Auckland and we will need to choose a day for low tide but I need any help as to whether they are around as I know they move. They were prevalent back in the day but that was 40-50 years ago! I know locals like to keep this info close, any feedback and help would be appreciated.
