Hey everybody. We are a group of 4 guys heading up to whitianga from the south island for a week in hopes of having an epic fishing and diving/ spear fishing holiday. Boat is rigged up for every kind of fishing, from bottom fishing to game fishing. Just wondering if anyone can point us In the right direction as to places to go to catch/ spear some good fish. Hoping to get everything from john dory, snapper, deep sea fish, some good kingfish and hopefully some game fish. We are only there for a week so will only be catching enough for a feed, a lot of catch and release. Have heard a lot of people talk about the ammo dump for game fish, where can I find this?
