What do you think of putting a Lure Slider instead of Stinker at the end of 2 hooks Flasher Rig?

Does this work?

I have been reading and watching YouTube of Lure Sliders on
how it's use and understand the weight about it.

But, I don't find info if anyone has tried with 2 hooks flasher rig,
and at the end with lure sliders.

3 hooks (2 from flasher jig) and (1 from the Lure Slider).
No Sinker, let the Lure Slider does it job below. Wink

Anyone can comment on this idea, and what are the pro and con?

Thank you

Not a silly Q . Guys who think outsie the square end up doing OK.
I have tried similar with no real luck - but that is no certain conclusion.
I can see it working when bouncing the gear off the bottom - with a swell. How I fish for gurnard. I have done it with slicer lures - that works.
Give it a go.

It would work for sure, but I'd look at a Lucanus-type jig instead of a slider as these can be clipped on/off easily.

Personally, I'd make life easier and put a little bit of tough bait on the slider hooks and skip the flasher rig. Squid or salted mackerel is ideal. It's an absolutely lethal technique when fished with braid and an appropriate lure fishing rod/reel.

I often fish a  Lucanus in mid water while drift fishing bait on the bottom .
On a long rod  so it magnifies boat movement.
Its landed a few good snapper over the years.
