I am heading to Lake Taupo this weekend- never fished on Lake Taupo before- we are staying at Moutere-.
Where do you jig fish- anywhere close to Moutere?
Also looking at trolling- not sure where to go??
First timer on Lake.

The fellas in hamills and h&f will be able to outvyounonto some good local spots. From what little I know, you want to find the drop offs and ledges and focus around the top areas of these. Good luck!
