I have a 10wt 9' strong switch flyrod, reel and backing, which I want to use as a skagit in those tight places. The flyline I'm looking at is an Airflo Scout at 350grains which was recommended by a friend and appears to be suitable for a single handle switch rod. Being new to spey I'm not sure what leader(s) to go with as the type of fishing I do is mostly for salmon in our larger Canterbury rivers.
