Hey all,

I'm a saltwater newbie (used to fish carps in pond in Europe) and just picked up a few gear for surfcasting last week.

I went out fishing a couple times at Omaha beach already and that was a lot of fun, not a whole lot of success though. I was hoping for some snappers (at least one) but only managed to catch a couple kahawais during my last outing which I released because they were so small (I also didn't really know what they were at the time).

Anyway, I'm intending to head out back there this Thursday after work for a couple hours, it's suppose to be a great day for fishing. If you're keen to join me I'd love to have fishing buddies and if I could learn from you that would be awesome.
