The boat ramp at the narrows off airport road has a ton of rudd hanging around it right now.Was down there today after mullet and saw a few that would have gone 20-25 cm.A lot of smaller ones in schools as well.
Would post some pics of the bigger ones but .... well if you find a yellow camera with lots of pics of fish floating down the river,its mine.
If you think you are too small to make a difference,try sleeping with a mosquito in your tent.

BD thats a bugger re the camera!!!
Where abouts is the boat ramp Im looking at Google Maps but is it above or below the bridge?  Cant make it out, might go for a look tomorrow...cheers

Below the bridge on the true right.  Go down Narrows Ln,turn left onto gravel drive into the small reserve and follow the short S bend to the concrete ramp.
 
There was a guy in a motorhome fishing for them this evening.
