Brought a Jm Ocean Devil UL off Chris a while ago with the plan of putting an Accurate bx400 on it.
Budget constraints due to spending money on the boat now mean a new accurate is a bit out of reach now.
What other options are there out to up to the $500 dollar mark? or anyone got a second hand Accurate they would like to part company?
Got a couple of trips planned over winter to give this gear a go otherwise would wait and save!
Look forward to your advice.
Cheers

John at Tas Tackle had a Maxel osl-5d, Very similar to a Jigging master PE3, I think he had it for $350, so would be a bit of change in the back pocket.

TAS - Its a real disease

You may get a good 2nd hand BX400 XN at the right price, I know matching the rod with a JM PE3 will be in the range of NZD$850. Like Jono said the Maxel OSL-5D from Tas-Tackle $449 brand new same reel as the JM PE3 but $400 cheaper, or the Maxel F30C $495, F40C $559, F50C $579.

Thanks team for the comments and advice.
Have been talking to Kane from DeCoro and he is going to build a reel for me, sounds pretty awesome!
