Had this little baby dropped off to me this morning,
i'm planning on chasing gulf kings with jigs and big butterfly jigs so question is what weight braid?
is sitting on a jig star 120.

Same reel as mine AJ, sweet little reel. The heavier braid you put on the more the action of the jigs is affected, especially the lighter slow pitch jigsWink

The 30lb suffix perfirmance is nice and thin plus its multi coloured

Got the same reel for Slow Pitch long fall jigging, actually I will have two of those reels very soon. Currently running PE1 (20Lb) Amigo Delux for Snapper and small legal kings and will PE3 Amigo Delux Multi colour (50lb) for the bigger Kings on the other..
