Asking on be half my brother is looking at buying a dogfight.want to use it for top water and for jigging.with just changing rod..the guy at h&f told him it's to fast for jigging?seams strange to me.
Would the dog fight suit as a multipurpose reel top water and jigging ?

Best suited to topwater but some use them for jigging but very hard work with their high retrieve ratio

Not just a bit quick but a long retrieve v's shorter retrieve required for jigging. IMO
