Don't even go there. Have owned both. Salina a nice reel but hasn't got the quality that the Saragosa has. Get a few good kings on it and things will start to happen.............

Saragosa for me over the Salina. Much nicer reel in my opinion.

If you were looking at buying an Okuma for jigging presently you would go for the Azores, Far stronger reel that the Salina with a Likeness to the Saragosa, puts out 20kegs of drag and is SOLID... at a very good price.

And me for the Saragosa.

I have one I leave on my softie rod on the boat and it is the reel I use the most and gets the most abuse.

Had it for years now and it's landed hundreds of fish and still going strong.

I serviced it for the first time last month (I know very bad) and the thing is mint inside!

I had a saragosa and the price/quality relation is amazing...the reel is damn strong! won't let you down with fish for sure...just change the washers for beter ones, put another ballbearing inside and it's perfect.
I'm from the AZORES, we don't have kings here, but we kings cousins the greater amberjacks, but giant ones, up to 70kg, although I never caught one near that size, not even close...

I had RawII, which is internally the same as Salina.
The oscillation gear looked like this after a year and half of sporadic usage while the reel never got dunked or abused.... its just made of rubbish alloy...
Alan Hawk has some good info which reel to choose: http://www.alanhawk.com/blog/wr15.html
