I will be staying at the Lake Hakanoa campsite for a few days in early March. I have never fished this area before and am looking for tips (best shore areas, methods etc) I would also like to fish the Waikato river (preferably for trout but also enjoy coarse) but need walking distance from a campsite. Any suggestions?
