Gentlemen,

Having sold the boat a while back I’m getting right back into my surfcasting/rock fishing. Can you guys recommend a surfcasting rod/reel for under $400? I’m currently using a 14’6 CD rod with a shimano big baitrunner, which I love, is there anything out there that’s as grungy as the combo I’m running for the price I’m looking for? Really like the looks of the abu Garcia veratis rods but then that only leaves me $150ish for the reel. Help! Wanting to buy it tomorrow for the weekend.
