Plenty of happy memorys on that wharf. Me and Tiny used to bunk school and catch the bus and spend the day fishing there.
Never forget 1 day saw a Islander guy catch a huge Stingray and landed it on the old landing platform ( long gone now ) then he left the Ray there and bolted of up the wharf back to his car. Only 2 minutes to come running back down with a shot gun. Blew the poor Stingray to smithereens. 3 minutes later place was swarming with Police arresting him.
Seen some big Kingfish caught there as well. Awesome place to teach the kids fishing.Good to se it still catches fish.
