I was hoping someone could shed some light on what the diving is like around Haast- Jacksons bay area. I'm a keen diver/spearo moving to alexandra in a couple months and was looking for some info. I don't have a boat and i do everything shore based. What would I be likely to encounter around this area, are the cray and paua numbers good, butters, bluecod etc. Not after anyones spot X but just want to get a feel for what to expect
