Kingfish in Korea is not as big as in NZ, but they are very popular among jigging and popping fishermen. 
Here is a decent size kingfish on a jig.
I lost much bigger ones on poppers and I will return to Korea next year to catch big kingfish on jigs and poppers.
I am going to use the same Black Hole Cape Cod Slow Pitch jigging rods when I fish Three Kings next spring.

We have some big kingfish like this 28,5kg which was caught on  jig by a lady angler on the trip.
