After having a k labs and an okuma pe6-8 3 piece pop on a 14k stella im thinking i need something stronger. Both rods broke low down, straight above the reel seat with the klabs and at the first joint on the okuma 3 piece. Wasnt high sticking and i wouldnt imagine any more than 10kg of drag was on as im not a gym junky.

I wont be heading back to the islands for a while so a travel rod isnt needed right away but id take recommendations as to what will work.

The klabs is good to go again as kev rebuilt it so big thanks to him but im not certain it is going to do what i want it to.

Any advice is appreciated

For jigging? CD Rods Fast Jig, anything Jig Star, Jigging Master.
If you hunt around you can find pics of all of these rods being bent in ridiculous ways.

That's a Jigging Master, I would say they can handle the jandal... not that they would recommend what's going on there...
