) its a matter of personal preference. I know my rod and reel (Okuma, 5 foot, 24-37 jigging rod/Duel speedy 20) will catch 99% of the fish im going to encounter, so I cant (yet) justify the addtional 600 - 800 bucks on top of what I have already spent for that extra little bit of comfort (less weight, nicer rod action, etc).
