I've recently aquired a NIB saltiga 5000H, braids on the way. Was a little suprised of the "free spinning" of this reel, especially after reading Alan Hawks reveiw comments:the new Saltiga has a freer and easier spinning than the Stella.

I've old reels to compare to (Stella FA & Certate), they free spin way easier than the
Salty.

So my question is this:
Is this salty going to "free up" a bit? and its just cause its brand new that its a little stiff?
There's no question of smoothness, and no noises suggesting a prob.
My Stella and Certate were both 2nd hand, so free spinning mean as allready.
Any one got any first hand experience?

Cheers Patrick, I figured as much. Hanging out for the braid to arrive so I can go give it a thrash.
