After spending a lot of last weekend Using a mates Jigstar 120g, it kinda converted me on super light setups. Especially for the local 10-15 kilo range fish. Although I love the 400g setups it becomes a long day jigging them all day. Just looking around at light jigging options and seeing what others out there are using. I have a jigstar 250g which I am going to sell to fund this new rod, looking for something in the 100-150g range. So far the rods I have spotted which look nice are the JM Sabre Game 150g, the fin nor marquesa 165g and the Jm ocean devil light. I would love a new jigstar or synit but out of my price range. Probably going to see what I can find in a good used condition.

Anyone out there can shed some light on this, let me know what they are using and good/bad points of the rods they are using?

Hey Leigh

is this the rod you use out at Hunters/Kapiti?

And what max jigs are you using on it?

surely (much) heavier than 60g.
