Hi All, 

I'm lucky enough to have a week off in late March after toiling through the festive season and have aquired a holiday home at Raumati Beach for 4-5 nights. As this is the first time I've been to this area (let alone fished it) I was wondering if there is any-one out there that wouldn't mind imparting a bit of knowledge regarding type of fish available, spots, baits or people to contact on arrival. Mostly looking at a bit of surf-casting but a charter for the family might not be out of the question.

Any help would be much appreciated.
