Hi guys the boys and I have just sailed over to Fiji on an old matangi that we have resurrected and are here till nov before we will probly head north to the marshal islands. Have done a lot of snapper, Kingi boat fishing back home no real game fishing and would be keen for any info you have for us. We are on a budget but have a few rapala's poppers jigs and skirted lures the biggest rod is a new tld 50 on a 37kg rod but the others rods are new fin-nor 9500 with 80lb braid (will let you know how they go in a month I have my droughts already ) we are keen to catch some GT's but need fish for the table ASAP any help would be much appreciated

Best advice, start using a halco laser pro red head lure. best results on a sunny day, morning . I have had countless luck on them. try trolling near the edge of the reefs
